Red Sky In Mourning ReviewFor a first time author, i found his book riveting. Having served in the US Navy, I was able to relate to many of small details within the storyline that some readers might not comprehend the importance of. I look forward to more novels from this authorRed Sky In Mourning OverviewIt was only supposed to be a regular routine assignment for Robert Shale. The U.S.S. Greyville was just another amphibious ship. His exceptional career led him to his new command and his soon to be new unknowing situation. He thought of him self as a typical everyday sailor who wanted a life like anyone else as his life had always been the United States Navy and sailing across the ocean on her ships. Shortly after reporting onboard the U.S.S. Greyville for duty, he is surrounded by people he never knew from his life. Deaths begin to rise around Robert as they are first reported as accidents. Sailors onboard soon begin to blame many of the deaths on Robert's arrival to the Greyville. With only a minimal crew every sailor begins to wonder who will be next. Everyday a new ordeal would force Robert to his own isolation from the rest of the crew. Not knowing what was in store for his waking moments. As Robert has had no past memories and now alone, his life would soon be filled with these new haunting images and twisted into his own reality. Haunted and tormented, Robert soon finds he is in a struggle with trying to figure out which reality he lives in. As his memories unfold into a possible past, it opens new doors to where Robert came from. Just days into the assignment things take a drastic turn for the worse. Eventually turning into a bloodbath of revenge.
