ESV Student Study Bible (TruTone, Navy) ReviewTo begin, I did not purchase this bible for myself but was purchase for a friend. I felt, based on my research, that the ESV would be a very good version and simpler for my friend to understand. He was very pleased with it. I spent some time flipping through it and saw that it was full of a lot of extra information that would help with a good study bible. My primary concern was a translation that was true to the original text, as the ESV is. My only negative is that the print is smaller than I would like if I were keeping it myself.
