U.S. Navy Fighters of WWII (Enthusiast Color Series) ReviewThe book presents a concise view of the navy's fighter force in the Second World War, with some of the best photos of the planes involved that I've seen. Mr Tillman's vast knowledge of naval history and Mr. Lawson's most comprehensive photo collection make this a must for those readers with a thirst for accurate presentation. The only criticism I can offer is that I wish it had been longer, with more photos and personal accounts of some of the participants in that great conflict. But, that is covered in other Tillman works about Naval aviation. All in all, a fine read and welcome addition to a growing collection of Mr. Tillman's fine offerings.
