Bad Behavior (The Conduct Series, 2) ReviewI never thought that two ex-cons could be so likable! Jennifer Lane has followed up her first story in the series (With Good Behaviour) with another gripping read featuring Grant Madsen and Sophie Taylor. Their pasts put them in prison and it was their release from prison that brought them together.
The new story features lots of characters I came to love from the first book. The cuddly river cruise skipper, Roger; he of the potty mouth. Grumpy but soft-hearted parole officer Gerry. Grant's surrogate father and mentor, Uncle Joe. Feisty Detective Fox who, with Jerry, want to keep the couple safe. Kirsten, Sophie's devoted best friend; and many more characters, old and new.
Add to this Grant and Sophie are attending mandatory counselling together - which makes for some very interesting developments in their relationship.
Now they have to face more danger in the shape of Grant's Mafia family who want him to head the "family business". Will he escape their clutches? Will he be able to protect Sophie from them?
