The Nam "Doc" A Navy Corpsman's Story ReviewHaving not grown up in the vietnam era, I have only heard, second hand, of why we were there and what happened. I am greatful to have been able to read the Nam Doc's story. While accounting the horror of what happend there, it also depicts the humanity, of at least one person. It is hard to know what one goes through when put in that situation and this book helps you understand that there can be hummanity and kindness even in the worst situation. I would hope that those who were at home protesting the war and the soilders who were there read this book and understand that.
