Sword in the Lion's Den: Navy Doc with 3/25th Marines in Iraq ReviewThis book is so fantastic. It took me in chronological order from deployment to redeployment. The writer painted a real picture for me of the emotions and conditions for his year of service to our country. That he never wavered or doubted his faith in his Lord or his country during this difficult time is a testament to his character and many of those around him. My own son is now serving his year in Baghdad and I wondered if I was asking for more worry and anxiety by reading this book now, and not waiting until he was home and again safe. I am so thankful that I didn't decide to wait. Great photo selections and I specifically liked the dated entry's.
